Overview
The Cloud Operations Bootcamp compresses years of operational experience into 2 weeks of structured, labs-first training. Participants build infrastructure from scratch, break it deliberately, debug it under time pressure, optimize it for cost and reliability, and defend their architectural decisions to peers and instructors. By the end, graduates are ready to take pager, respond to incidents, and own production systems.
Curriculum covers: infrastructure-as-code foundations (Terraform), deployment automation (CI/CD), observability (metrics, logs, traces, alerting), incident response (from pager-through-postmortem), cost optimization (FinOps fundamentals), security baselines (CIS benchmarks, secrets management), and on-call operations (runbooks, chaos engineering, game days). Capstone project requires participants to ship a small production system and survive a simulated incident.
